Hi, I'm Lucas. I design and 3D print my own models, write code, and build robots. This site is where I keep everything I've made, what I'm working on now, and what I'm trying to learn next.

About me

I got into making things through 3D printing. I started by printing models other people designed, then started designing my own, and now most of what comes off my printer is something I drew myself.

Coding came next, because a lot of my builds needed something to tell them what to do. Robotics put the two together: a part I printed, a motor, and code that makes it work.

I like problems where the first try fails. Most of my prints and programs didn't work at the start, and figuring out why is the part I actually enjoy. Mental math is the same kind of thing, which is probably why I like it.

My parents help me with the parts that need a grown-up, like orders in my 3D Lab. Everything on this site is work I did myself.

2026 Porto International Mental Arithmetic Olympiad

Mental math is my favourite kind of problem. No paper, no calculator, just working it out in my head.

Away from the workbench

I do a lot of sport, and I fight with my brother. That last one is not a sport but I do it anyway.

Sports

Always moving

Water polo, baseball, basketball and jiu-jitsu keep me busy when I’m not making things.

What I like

Problems to solve

Mental math, coding, robots and 3D printing are all different ways of figuring things out.

Next challenge

Build a walking robot

Design the parts, print the joints, wire the motors and write the code that makes it move.

Favorite part

Making the first version

I like turning an idea into something real, even when the first version does not work and I have to redesign it.
